Why Acai is so good for us?
Acai is loaded with antioxidants (considerably more than pomegranate, blueberries and grapes).
Antioxidants are molecules that may protect cells from the damage caused by unstable molecules known as free radicals. Free radical damage may lead to cancer. Antioxidants interact with and stabilize free radicals and may prevent some of the damage free radicals otherwise might cause. Acai also carries lots of fibers, healthy monounsaturated fats, iron and amino acids. To learn more about acai health benefits click here.

Why Acai Roots?
Acai roots was developed by three local Brazilians who were born and raised in Rio de Janeiro during the Acai boom (80's-90's). During that time they were "spoiled" with most delicous and healthy Acai bowls (the real Rio de Janeiro style Bowl), and created real high-standard for Acai. When they were exposed to the Acai available in the US (2000-2001), they thought it wasn't close to what they were used to back home. That is when Acai Roots started to be formed.
Today Americans can really enjoy the real Rio de Janeiro style Acai bowl.
Why does Acai Roots taste so much better than the other Acai products available in the US?
The main reason why Acai Roots tastes so much better than any other Acai products in the US is because it was formulated by very demanding Brazilian locals.
