Avoid Acai Scams!

With the already immense and still growing popularity of acai, it comes as no surprise that the scammers have been hard at work taking advantage of people who are looking to enjoy this delicious and healthy fruit. We get more than 10 calls a day from desperate people who have been taken in by acai scams and we wanted to post something to try and help these and any possible future victims from falling for these dishonest and despicable programs.

The most common acai scams are the ones where the website or ad makes you think you that you are signing up for a "free" trial bottle of acai capsules, only to find out soon that you have been placed on automatic billing and shipment of the product -- for which they charge up to $90 per bottle (five times the Acai Roots price)! Then, when you call to try and cancel the program, you can't get anyone on the phone, there is no method for leaving a message, and the original website offers no method for emailing or canceling electronically. For most, the last and only resort is to call their credit card company to have the charges blocked, which many times we instruct them to do when they call us.

We do everything we can to help the people who call us, exacerbated by the situation and skeptical about even pursuing a legitimate source of acai caps, smoothies, and freeze dried powder. But once they poke around our website and talk to us, they feel much better about ordering and enjoying our superior products and vastly superior service. So before you fall for a scam for free acai, and trial this, and money back that, give us a call or shoot us an email and we'll make sure you're taken care of and don't have to become another victim. As with everything, when evaluating the claims being made by a website, if it seems too good to be true, it probably is. Be wary of sites telling you that you will lose 30 lbs. in 30 days and other incredible - and completely false - claims.

Acai is a very healthy part of any diet and will give you more energy, help with cholesterol and weight management, and ward off aging, but it is not a miracle cure for anything, and will only help you lose weight.
